The Sierra Nevada mountain range is dotted with crystal clear alpine lakes, each of which is surrounded by a panorama of trees and ridgelines. This beanie is perfect for a winter day adventuring around your favorite alpine lake. The colorwork motif features the mirrored reflection where the mountains meets the lake, and is knitted using stranded colorwork in two contrasting colors.

Materials: Yarn: two skeins of Sierra Rose Alpacas Winter Jewel Collection yarn (80% alpaca, 20% wool; 220 yards/201 meters per 100 gram/3.5 oz skein): in Natural (Main Color) and Heathered Blue (Contrast Color) used for Sample A; in Natural (Main Color) and Red (Contrast Color) used for Sample B.
