AddiSwing Maxi Crochet Hook

I worried about how I’d get on with this hook, as I’d never used or even held an ergonomic hook before. I find that the hook is deceptively light and once you get used to how different and natural it feels in your hand, it’s brilliant. I no longer have struggles with getting the right tension, and my stitches have never been more perfect! My only gripe is that I wish the maxi hooks went up in bigger sizes (an 8mm especially). It’s my first time using an ergonomic hook so it took some getting used to, but once I got into it I was flying! Less hand aches and my stitches are even with great tension. I’ll definitely be investing in another one of these hooks soon.

I was looking for a longer hook so that the end wouldn't dig into my hand. I've tried ergonomic hooks that were helpful but still dug into my hand. This hook is longer and the shape is fantastic. I'm able to crochet for longer periods of time, faster, and smoother.

I bought this hook as I didn’t have the size required for the pattern. It fits nicely in the hand and is very comfortable to use.

At first I was a little sceptical as it was a lot bigger than I was expecting, but honestly it is the best purchase I’ve made! I have fibromyalgia which affects my hands and this hook is the least painful one that I’ve come across and is now the only one that I use!
