Great timing
This pattern is awesome and so easy
This delightful alphabet blanket is a wonderful heirloom blanket for a newborn or young baby. It is a blanket that can easily be undertaken by beginners as there are no unusual or difficult stitches to master. The pattern contains written instructions with full stitch counts for every row.
The blanket is made using dk-weight yarn (US:light-worsted/AUS:8-ply) yarn. It uses chains, double crochet (US-single crochet) and treble crochet (US-double crochet) stitches. I used 100% acrylic yarn (approx 260g/9.2oz) but it would also be lovely in a soft cotton yarn too. You will also need a size 4.00mm (G/6) hook and a yarn needle. The finished blanket measures approx 31.5in x 28.5in / 80cm x 73cm.
