Product Details

Inspired by the striking reds and whites of traditional Nordic folk art, the Nordic Tiles Scarf and Fingerless Mitt set is a great travel project as the tiles are completed individually then joined with simple surface crochet. A great mid-season set, these pieces are perfect to keep the chill off as Spring warms up. This set is worked in the soft and luxurious Valley Yarns Northfield, a cable-plied Merino, baby alpaca, and silk blend.

Not for me, when I downloaded the pattern it wasn't as I expected. I bought several patterns for wrist warmers/fingerless gloves and none of them were what I wanted so ended up just making up my own pattern. I really wanted some plain wrist warmers, made in rounds with some shaping. However, none of the patterns had any shaping, and some were made in rows and seamed. It's not necessarily a bad pattern, for me the description looked like what I wanted, but when I looked at the detail of the pattern it wasn't as I expected it to be.
