Product Details
The main pattern is written, but colourwork is charted.
Ability Level: Intermediate to Experienced. This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.
Materials required: Size 19 UK/1.00 mm knitting needles and 1-ply acrylic or cotton yarn in oddments of various colours (each square will use approx 7 to 10 metres of yarn), 35 metres 1-ply yarn for edging, fine needle, optional - sewing cotton and seed beads for edging.
Approximate finished sizes of knitted squares Each finished square measures approximately 1¼-inch/3 cm. NOTE: as this rug can be made any size by adding or subtracting squares no finished measurements are given, but the square rug (5 x 5 squares), as shown in the photos, would be approximately 7-inches/17.5 cm square including the edgings.
