Finally I have finished my second Christmas stocking - Pixie. I have admired all the Christmas Stockings made recently and earlier. My inspiration to make mine was another crafter who used alternative ply and needle sizes using up mostly stash I think. So my intention to copy her lead doing similar. pixie stocking is made using 2 strand DK in green and variegated yellow obtained using a warm ocra and yellow - needles size 4.5mm. pixie DK (1) strand needles size 3mm - would use 3.25/3.5 next time 🤔 Stash used throuhout 😍

Great stockings Maria and very good idea to use your stash wool! I do like the effect of the elf's stocking - gives it a nice gold colour! I find the stockings a good knit while watching TV! 🎄🎅
