DK Baby Cardigan
I love the soft look and feel of Sublime baby yarn. The pattern is fairly easy, but the yoke requires some figuring out. After the first 8 rows, it says to "continue in pattern"; however, the pattern is a few stitches off due to shaping decreases. If you've knit from patterns that explain everything, this can be a small challenge. I like to make notes once I've figured out where in the pattern to start a row. Also, I mostly made the first stitch along the yoke neckline and underarm in stockinette, rather than in pattern, thinking it might make the seaming look smoother. I kept the side seams in pattern. I like the results of knitting sweaters in pieces, but it seemed like a lot of seaming for such a teeny-tiny little sweater, and a fair bit of fabric taken up with the mattress stitch. I made another with short sleeves in size 4-5 in Berroco Vintage Baby yarn, colour 10024 New Leaf. I redid the neckline doing decreases at edge rather than 1 stitch in.

Beautiful little jacket, love the colour and the pattern, yes it’s difficult when the pattern changes as you start decreasing, I’m the same I have to try and work it out with pen and paper or count it out from previous pattern and work back! But your cardigan/jacket is beautiful and you have knitted it beautifully 😊

Gorgeous jacket, I love the colour.
