I had a go at crocheting this bag and throughly enjoyed making it, I’m not usually a crocheter but following this pattern I found it easy to make, the method of joining has you go is simple if you follow the stages, although I got in a bit of a pickle with the double yarn and all the ends, if you can, tidy all the ends and on the squares before the Jaygo. Also have found after making bag number 2 that 4 balls of the main yarn paintbox dk was not enough to complete the handles and had to order 2 more balls.

This was my first bag and not perfect I have made a few mistakes with the joining and the yarn I substituted was a bit heavy when finished.
Great use of the ‘Granny’ square. Very clever design. Love it. 😊
