Patchwork Blanket

I made this for cosy evenings by the fire

A simple patchwork blanket knitted in strips. I have adjusted the width and length to make a blanket approx 90cm x 120cm. I have also included provisional cast on for each strip and left live stitches on stitch holders at end of each strip. This will allow me to use these live stitches when knitting the top and bottom borders - better than picking up stitches :-) I also learned a new technique, combination knitting - really easy and gives a slightly tighter tension and more even stocking stitch. Ideal for a throw or blanket.
