Notes: This one took me a while because I had so many other projects going at the same time :) Had I focused on it, it would have gone a lot faster so don't let my duration put you off the pattern!
The pattern I used is called Merry Maze by Beba Blanket. I did 6 stripes, and each stripe repeated the motif 5 times. The blanket is 42" x 34". Each stripe combines two of the colors and I didn't repeat combinations so that each stripe was unique. If I had to do it again though, I would select one background color for the whole blanket and then vary the second color for each stripe. It looks a bit random the way I made it :)
The yarn is really nice and because it's 100% cotton, it's completely machine washable, which is great for blankets for kids. The blanket has a lovely cozy weight to it, especially because mosaic crochet results in a dense blanket. The colors are bright and fun and perfect for a boy!
I really like this pattern a lot! It's so visually impactful and really draws the eye!
