I made this for Me

I did a cable cast on of the Malabrigo Silky merino with US #4 circular needles and knit three rows of garter stitch, following “flutterby93”’s mods. I made 3/4 sleeves, according to Jane Richmond’s update to the pattern. Therefore, I did fewer increases on the sleeves than on the rest of the yoke. Lace Bottom - I knitted on US #5 needles for 2 1/2 inches and finished with three rows of garter stitch and binding off. The lace is much easier to do without having to incorporate the increases for raglan sleeves around the neck. Sleeves: I used short interchangeable circular needles and my shortest cord to make a 16” circular set of US #5 and US #4 needles. 19 rows of 66 stitches made 3 inches of stockinette before I started paired decreases every 6 rows until I got to 48 stitches, at 76 rows. Then I did 10 rows of the lace pattern on the smaller needles, 2 rows of garter and bound off. This silky merino feels wonderfully soft on bare skin, and is delightful to knit
