I was charmed by the colours of this blanket by Crochet Objet when I spotted it on Etsy. The designer has previously sold the yarns, but now she doesn't, the pattern itself isn't too helpful on colour - with shades like 'Alice', 'Cameo' or 'Loft'. I spent a lot of time zooming the photos trying to guess which was which and attempting to match them. You can see from my yarn list, it was quite a job. Since the blanket itself is basically linen stitch and trebles I do consider the pattern to be pretty expensive at £6.58. That said - the pattern is clear with good photos for the setup. And the border is excellent - a clever design which really helps it to lay flat. I'll definitely use that idea again. It was quite tricky matching the tension of the linen rows with the TR rows - so I ended up using a slighly smaller hook for the TR rows which worked fine. It was a very nice relaxing project to make over the summer - it took quite a while as it was interspersed with other projects.
