Woven Style Crochet Basket

This crochet basket pattern includes instructions for making three sizes of this basket:

Large sized basket - 8” wide by 6” high

Medium sized basket - 7” wide by 5.5” high

Small sized basket - 6” wide by 4.5” high

I have also provided a YouTube Tutorial link which demonstrates a few of the crochet techniques used to make this basket.

This crochet basket was made using 100% cotton, Worsted weight yarn (10ply). The basket crochets very quickly with this weight of yarn.

Instructions are provided in UK terminology.

To make this basket, you need to use the follwong stitches:

chain stitch

slip stitch

double crochet

treble crochet

half treble crochet

double crochet two together

working around front/back of posts
