Product Description
Winter trees are knit from the bottom up in one piece, knit with the yarn held double, either two strands MC or one MC and one CC strand.
You can create the trees in various width and height by using various yarn, from fingering, through sport to worsted, or even bulky, always held double, for the bottom part two MC, and for the upper part one MC and one CC for that dusty, snowed appearance.
Finished Tree Size: 6” (15.5 cm) tall, 5” (13 cm) circumference at the bottom of the tree.
Sample Yarn: Cascade Superwash 220 (100% Superwash Wool; 220 yards [200 meters] / 100 g [3.5 oz]: 1 skein each; 867 Lichen – MC, 817 White - CC.
Yardage per tree: 140 yards / 128 meters of MC and 45 yards / 42 meters of CC.
