Winter Sparkle Mittens

Brighten up the steely grey cold months with some bright and cheerful mittens! With sport weight yarn and fun colourwork (no long floats!) to keep you engaged, this pair is a fun project for experienced knitters. Customize the fit by shortening or extending the pattern by a row here and there, and - pro-tip - I wear thin white cotton eczema gloves underneath to avoid catches on the inside stranding. Best of all, these match my Winter Sparkle Socks which is a minimally-guided pattern that is available for free!

*PS - For the waves sections, I reversed the knitting direction on the chart to knit the second mitten, in order to make a symmetrical pair.
