'Winter Owl Hat'

What a great hat for owl lovers everywhere! 4 owls go round this lovely, pompom beanie and it’s made of warm, super-chunky, merino wool, to keep the wearer super-warm on the coldest day!

It is one size teen/adult and will fit approx. 53-58cm/21-23in head size. The hat is actually 46cm/18in circumference, so any size head slightly larger than that would work, so possibly would work for older children.

It is an easy/intermediate knit, knitted flat and sewn up, or circular with no seams. Basic skills are needed, plus very simple cable – it is very easy even if it’s your first time! Instructions are written line by line, with British/US terms. Make all one colour or use up odds and ends and make a multi-colour one - instructions included to make the 2-colour hat in the photos.
