Product Description
The traveling cables on this slightly slouchy hat ascend from a cabled rib on the brim all the way to the top, creating the windrose-like pattern on the crown. Choose a light-colored sport weight yarn to properly show off the intricate cable work.
Finished Measurements 17”/44 cm brim circumference. 8.5”/22 cm height from base of ribbing to top center of crown. Measurements are taken after blocking. Fits average adult head sizes 20-21”/51-53 cm.
Yarn Approximately 210 yds/192 m of sport weight yarn.
Needles Size US 4/3.5 mm and size US 2/ 2.75 mm: 16”/40 cm circular. 1 set of double-pointed needles, size US 4/3.5 mm. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Gauge 32 stitches and 33 rounds = 4”/10 cm on size US 4/3.5 mm needles in Body Chart after blocking.
