Product Description
Wavy Sea is a flowing poncho, with a scalloped lacy edge that is remiscent of the waves on the sea shore. Knitted in aran/worsted yarn, it is a lighter knit for Spring/Autumn days, or brilliant for cooler, Summer evenings. Great with jeans or a flowy skirt.
It is an easy pattern as the only skills needed are cast/bind on and off, knit, purl, k2together and yarn forward - great for a confident beginner, or a relaxing knit for the more experienced. Instructions are written line by line, in English, with British/USA terms. Yarn recommendations are given, but any aran/worsted cotton yarn should be fine.
Fits small to large adult – 76cm/30in to 112cm/44in chest (or possibly a little larger as it’s stretchy). Modelled on UK size 8, USA size 4, chest 81cm/32in - it will hang a little differently on larger sizes, but still looks great!

Once folded in half and sewn, the finished poncho measures 63.5cm wide by 51cm deep (25 inches by 20 inches) when laid flat. The diagonal measurement across the widest point reaches 84cm (33 inches), while the center neck opening extends down to the lower point at 66cm (26 inches). The length from the neck edge to just past the elbow is approximately 46cm (18 inches), making this a comfortable shoulder-covering garment.
