Warm Kando Japanese Shawl

This warm shawl, knit with worsted weight yarn, will not only cheer you up on drab days, but will also keep you warm. The shawl features 2 distinct cables. The focal cable is an unusual one, fairly delicate and yet ornate. Both of these cables come to us from Japan.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of cabling).

All the stitches are charted and written out line by line.

The finished shawl measures 22 inches x 74 - 78 inches.

The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, undyed.

Any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern. No crochet hooks needed if you don't want to crochet the edging.
