Waffle Cone Pillow

My Waffle Cone Pillow is my second ice cream shop inspired pillow. I am currently designing pillows that are all inspired by an old fashioned ice cream shop! It is composed of nine waffle cone squares. Post stitches are used to create the waffle cone texture! The back is one large lavender traditional granny square. Five buttons hold the bottom of the pillow together, and allow it to be taken on and off of the pillow insert. There are step by step pictures included throughout the pattern to help you with all of the steps. There is also a chart for the waffle cone square. I made my pillow with Cascade Ultra Pima cotton DK yarn. I used one skein of sunshine (mustard yellow), natural (cream), and veiled rose (light pink) for the front side and one skein of purple ice (lavender) for the back side; however, any DK weight yarn will work! You will also need five buttons (1.5 cm in diameter), and a 14 by 14 inch (35.5 cm) pillow insert.
