The v-stitch market bag is perfect for a trip. to the farmer's market on a Saturday morning. It's sturdy enough to hold all your purchases, even produce. The reusable bag also helps you reduce your impact on the environment.

You'll need 2 skeins of each color. The sample is made with Dazzle blue and Capri ombre. Gauge is not important, although making the bag bigger than specified could result in a need for additional yardage.

The bag is machine washable; dry flat. Stitches used are chain, single crochet and double crochet. The bottom of the bag is worked as a flat circle using the spiral method. The body of the bag features alternating sections of solid double crochet and v-stitch. The strap is worked from the body of the bag in 2 pieces with a finishing seam in the center of the strap.

This pattern works well for advanced beginners.
