Valar

Valar is a cozy open-front cardigan falling hip-length. The simple zig-zag lace detail is carried through the fronts and meets seamlessly at the back of the neck. The lace is repeated on the cuffs. It’s best knit with a few inches of ease for maximum coziness!

Sleeve circumference 12.5[13, 14, 15.5, 16.5, 17] inches Length: 22.5[22.5, 24, 26, 27, 28] inches from cast on edge to shoulder seam

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Valkyrie [100% Superwash merino wool; 200 yards per 114 gram skein]; 5[5, 5, 6, 7, 7] skeins or approximately 860[900, 1000, 1200, 1300, 1400] yards any worsted weight wool yarn.

Gauge: 16 stitches/22 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, both worked flat and in the round.

Needles: US #8/5.00mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle); needles for working small circumference in the round.
