Two Twigs is a double spined shawl, the shape makes it stay nicely on the shoulders. It requires 400-600 meters of fingering weight yarn. Right side rows have lace patterning that is charted. The shawl is easily enlarged by adding repeats.
Orange-black shawl with nupps used 1 skein Wollmeise Pure colourway Gonsalez [100% wool, 575yd/526 m per 150g] on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles. Blocked size is 140 x 45 cm (55 x 18 inches). Gauge: 14 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette.
Green shawl with beads used 1 skein Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light colourway Thoureau[100% merino, 420 yd/384 m per 100g] on 4 mm (US 6) needles. 86 beads size 2/0. Blocked size is 114 x 39 cm ( 45 x 15.5 inches) Gauge: 18 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette.
