Two Hats (and Cowls) Are Better Than One

Patterns for two sets of matching hat and cowl, a plain 'ribbed' design and a lacier design.  Both sets can be made from one Scheepjes Whirl (225g/1000m) which is a 4ply/fingering weight yarn.

This is the perfect pattern for that luxury sock yarn - make the hat first and then make the cowl, using up the remainder of the yarn (cowls can be made shorter or taller very easily).
