Tunisian Crochet Terracotta Cloth

Alternating Tunisian simple and slip stitches create an offset tiled pattern reminiscent of the Saltillo floors popular in homes in the American Southwest. This dishcloth is quick to work and a great use of leftovers to boot: just use different yarn scraps as desired for the contrast colors.

Sample worked in Knit Picks "Dishie" in colors Swan (MC) and Clementine (CC). Any worsted-weight "kitchen cotton" makes a great substitute.
