CROCHET PATTERN FOR TRIBAL NECKLACES
Materials you need:
100% cotton fingering / sport yarn (3 colors) and metal 1.9 mm hook (5). Please consult hook recommendation on your yarn label. However, to achieve the lace look shown here I recommend you use the specified yarn.
Beads (and/or sequins) in various colors and shapes (maker’s choice). With each of my necklaces shown in this tutorial I specify the types/sizes /number of beads used. The beads are applied after the piece is crocheted.
Sewing needle and thread.
Metal chain, ribbon clamps, jump rings, lobster clasp.
Used terms in American terminology: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st.), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), V-stitch (“V” st).
Finished measurements: 3.1" / 8 cm widest point of the sides and 1.8 / 4.5 cm down the center.
