Product Description
his is a pattern for a light and lacy stole. The feature stitch comes to us from Japan, and is a very unique cable lace stitch.
This stole is knitted with fingering weight yarn. The stole is approximately 16 inches x 68 inches, and requires approximately 800 - 1000 yards. However, there are instructions contained within the pattern for a wide scarf, (10 inches wide). Although the focal cable stitch comes to us Japan, but it is charted using Western symbols.
The stitches are both charted only.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cable-lace knitting)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
Any fairly light fingering weight yarn will work for this pattern.
