Toadstool Granny Square

Crochet a beautiful Toadstool Granny Square, a simple and fun pattern to make. This has been designed for stash-busting, using Double Knit Acrylic Yarn. Pattern includes written instructions and reference photos. 3 pages. 5+ photos.

This pattern is written in US terms. Although the instructions appear at first glance to be complex the skill level is beginner.

Materials : DK Weight yarn in Red, White and Green: ~[Recommended yarn: Stylecraft Special DK (100g, 295m/323yrds, 100% acrylic), 23m/25yrs of each: White (1001), Matador (1010) and Kelly Green (1826). (NB. Kelly Green is the interchangeable colour)]~; Crochet Hook Size 4mm (US F/5); Yarn Needle; Optional - stitch markers, pins, spray starch;

Measurements: 1 square using 4mm hook = 3.5 x 3.5 inches (for slightly larger or smaller size, use larger or smaller hook size)

Stitches Used: chain, single crochet, double crochet, double crochet cluster, slip stitch
