Tiny Owl fingerless gloves/mitts

PDF knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts/gloves with a Tiny Owl sitting on a branch on the front of each mitt. The backs of the mitts are plain.

Approximately 30gm rust 4ply wool was used for the background of the gloves in the photograph. The Tiny Owl needs just oddments of brown, coffee, white, black, yellow and beige, with olive green for the branch.

The gloves can be knitted in any 4ply weight yarn - wool, cotton or cashmere. The owl is knitted using the intarsia method but you could knit the gloves plain and embroider the owl on afterwards using duplicate stitch.
