Product Description
A cozy, quick-to-knit hat and cowl set knit in a delicate textured stitch, reminiscent of a field of a spiny thistle blooms. This close-fitting hat and cowl will keep you nice and warm. Pattern is written for either aran or sport weight yarn in a range of sizes for the whole family.
Gauge (worked in the round, after blocking)
Aran weight yarn - 17 sts and 22 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette st on smaller needle 18 sts and 24 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Thistle pattern on larger needle
Sport weight yarn - 21 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette st on smaller needle 21 sts and 30 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Thistle pattern on larger needle
Skills Required Long-Tail cast on, knit, purl, basic increasing and decreasing, working in the round
