I am quite a tight knitter anyway and I think combined with this and my choice of yarn, a cotton and viscose mixture it was not an ideal combination. The pattern requires you increase stitches whilst at the same time cabling and the yarn, I feel did not have enough give and resulted in it feeling a bit flat. I have however, used this yarn successfully on two other projects so know it knits up well. Just wrong yarn for this project - needs something with a bit of give.
