Skill level: Intermediate.
Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a single piece with inset raglan sleeves. The entire sweater is knit in the round.
Sweater shown in Photo is size medium. Sweater has approx. 4-6” negative ease for a more flattering fit.
Materials: 30 colors 100% pure Rohrspatz und Wollmeise birdies (fingering weight merino wool) yarn - pattern requires approximately 1585-1800 yards.
Needles: US size 4 circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). One set of US 4 double pointed needles.
Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap of yarn), yarn needle, and crochet hook for provisional cast on.
Gauge: 28 stitches and 32 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 4 needles.
