The symmetrical heart and spear motif breaks through the latvian braid, creating interesting detail in these mitts.

The pattern is appropriate for intermediate colorwork knitters. It includes instructions for the braids. The chart is color coded.

I used approximately 100 yards of pink and 110 yards of white fingering weight yarn.
