The Parkway Pillow

The Parkway Pillow is simple and easy to knit.

This is a quick knitting project with super bulky weight yarn.

I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in the color ‘Glacier’ for the blue pillow shown in photos.

Yardage: It's possible to make this pillow with just 2 skeins of Wool-Ease Thick & Quick...but a few yards of a 3rd skein may be needed.

Pillow form: I used an inexpensive 16” x 16” pillow form from a craft store. The finished pillow is slightly larger with the knitted cover.

Gauge: 10 stitches and 13 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

For best results, knitting should be fairly tight.

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit & purl confidently, bind off stitches, sew up simple seams & weave in ends.

The pattern includes detailed finishing instructions with 12 close-up tutorial photos and specific instructions for how to sew up beautiful seams.

Blocking of knitting recommended.
