Product Description
“Why is this hat lucky?” I hear you ask. The answer: it’s not. Sorry to disappoint. It’s called the Lucky Slouch Beanie because I was asked to knit a hat for the character called Lucky in the classic play Waiting for Godot, and this is what I came up with.
This free hat pattern has a brim which is worked flat in garter stitch and a main body which is worked in the round. It has decorative eyelets and raised lines, adding texture to a lovely plain-coloured yarn. There are two sizes to choose from: Small and Large. Due to the stretchy nature of this beanie, Small is suited for most head sizes. Large is suited for those with extra-large head circumferences or bulky hair.
I would recommend this pattern to intermediate knitters due to picking up stitches, working in the round, and using yarn overs.
