Texture

Texture is a simple asymmetric triangular shawl that you can make in double knitting, worsted or aran yarns. yardage is given for making it with DK. A very simple stitch combination generates a beautiful textured pattern and adds a undulating edge to the coloured stripes.

The finished blocked size is 80” wide and 18" deep

Yarn required: 100g DK (one whole skein) of the dark yarn and ~60 g DK yarn for the light colour

A note on yarn choice: use very contrasting yarns. Best suited to either two solid colours or one solid and one variegated that has no colours in it that are the same as the solid contrast yarn.

Skills required: You must be able to knit, yarn over kfb, kfbf, k1 below, k2tog.
