Sweet Mochi

Bobblicious! The inspiration for this dress was the lovely traditional Japanese treats of the same name, which are often presented as an assortment of pastel-colored, pillowy spheres.

This dress is worked seamlessly from the top down, first flat, then in the round, with a circular/raglan hybrid yoke. A bobble bind off is worked at the flutter sleeve edges. After the sleeves are bound off, an A-line skirt is worked in the round and finished by a bobble bind off at the hem. An applied I-cord is worked for a neat neckline finish.

SKILLS REQUIRED: long-tail cast on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round, I-cord edging, applied I-cord (explained in pattern), yarn over, picking up stitches, bobble bind off (explained in pattern, link to video tutorial).
