If you’re not someone who wears hoods, simply work a ribbing at the neck, before working the single crochet edging on the front edges and insert a slightly longer zipper, to extend up into the ribbing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eYarn:\u003c\/strong\u003e Chunky-Bulky weight wool, Approx: 2000 (2100, 2400) yds color of your choice. (The original was knit in Tahki’s Lana at 36.8 yds\/oz., held double.) Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Bulky, held double, is a good substitute.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGauge:\u003c\/strong\u003e 10 sts and 14 rows = 4″ (10cm) in st st with size 11 ndls (or size to give gauge) and 2 strands yarn held together.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHappy Knitting!
