Product Description
The color and design of this shawl are reminiscent of a bright, sunny day which is why I chose the name Sunsational! It is a triangular-shaped shawl that is worked flat from left tip to right edge. The pattern is worked with a combination of Garter-Stitch sections combined with a Slip-Stitch ribbing. Stitches are increased every RS row to the full width of the slip stitch panel that runs down the left side, then new stitches are added in a garter stitch fade to the end of the shawl.
Sunsational Shawl is DK weight, worked with two strands held throughout of fingering weight yarn to create a marl or “fade” as the colors transition from one variation to the next.
The panel on the left is worked with a constant main color (2 strands of the main color held together) while the triangle on the right is worked with the ever-changing fade colors.
