Summer Shelly Shorts

These cute shorts are made top down starting with a ribbed waist then a pretty shell stitch. The pattern is written colour coded so you follow the colour of the size you want.

The pattern could easily be made into a skirt making the length you want rather than splitting for the legs.

MATERIALS

140-410 metres of dk / weight 3 yarn (see size chart in pattern)

For my progress photos I used

Colour 1 = Pebble Haze DK Shade Marble 145 metres per 50g

Colour 2 = Pebble Haze Prints Shade Marloes Sands 435 metres per 150g ball

4 mm crochet hook

For the rainbow version I used Kingcole Cottonsoft 210 metres per 100g in Shades White, Candyfloss, Apricot, Sunshine, Apple, Saxe, Iris and Lavender. I used white for the edging and v stitch rows and changed colour for the shell stitch rows.
