The Stary Ridge Crochet Beanke is full of great ridged texture and is made using the star stitch. This is a fitted beanie with little to no slouch.
Stitches you'll need to know:
Ch - Chain
St- Stitch
Yo- Yarn Over
Sts- Stitches
BLO- Back Loop Only
Slst- Slip Stitch
SC- Single Crochet
HDC- Half Double Crochet
SC 3rd Loop: Single Crochet in the 3rd loop.
Hdc2tog- Half double Crochet two together
Sc2tog in 3rd loop - Single crochet two together in the 3rd loop
Star Stich
Things you'll need:
#4 Worsted weight yarn. Around 200 to 250 yards.
5mm Crochet hook
Measuring tape
Yarn needle
Scissors
Pompom of your choice
Size:
Finished Beanie measures 9 inches tall and 18 inches around the brim.
I topped my beanie with a 3.5-inch pompom.
This pattern is written for average-size adults. (19inches to 22inches.)
