Star Sweater

This is a cool spring sweater, sized from new baby to school aged child. It is made using alternate rounds of half trebles and half treble worked in the front loop, which creates a subtle ridged look, and then has stripes around the body in star stitch in different colours. It has loads of great kid-friendly design features - super stretchy around the shoulders and arms for ease of movement, wide neck line so it is easy to get on and off, three quarter length sleeves so the cuffs don’t get grubby, and loads of colour and texture. It also has a cool rib effect at the collar and cuffs which is much lighter than rib is usually.
