Stained Glass Throw

This crochet blanket starts with a square using simple crochet moss stitch. I wanted to insert bright colours to peer through the basic colour to create a stained glass effect. Drops muskat yarn is a DK (light worsted) yarn with a soft sheen, perfect for creating this effect.

I’m a big fan of simple makes using colour to creating what seems like a complicated design. As with many of my crochet throw and blanket designs this one has a deep border in contrasting stitches to compliment the square.

Please note the pattern also uses Drops Muskat Yarn which is not stocked here, but is widely available online.

The finished size of the throw is 110cm x 110cm
