Square Crochet Ottoman

This pattern includes instructions to make a cover for an existing ottoman (approximately 16 inch square cube ottoman), as well as instructions on adapting it to make a stuffed ottoman.

Mixtape yarn is recommended if you make it as a cover to ensure exact dimensions. However, if you are making it as a stuffed ottoman, you can use any super bulky yarn, as exact dimensions will not be important.

The ottoman cover is worked in one piece, from the top down, with no seaming required. If you are making a stuffed ottoman, an additional square is made and sewn onto the cover after stuffing.

Each side of the ottoman features a different pattern - you will never get tired of looking at it! Front Post double crochet and Back Post single cochet stitches are used a few times, but the stitches used for the patterns on the side are super simple. Lots of step-by-step photos are included to guide you through it.
