Pattern has been tested for all sizes.
I couldn't come up for a name for this pattern, so my daughter named it the Springfield Hat. Don't know why she picked it, but she thought it fit the design. And I liked it!
This is a great project for using up bits of yarn. Use one or 10 colors, it's up to you.
This pattern uses the often overlooked extended single crochet stitch. I felt it needed some love and came up with this hat. I love the texture it gave. It is such a versatile stitch.
Don't know how to work an esc stitch. Not to worry, instructions are given on how to work this stitch.
