Gauge: 19 sts in 4 in/10cm in stockinette stitch (row gauge is not important – measurements are given instead of row count).
You will need: Worsted yarn (up to 350 grams for regular size, up to 400 grams for XL), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting flat), a safety pin, a darning needle, and five buttons.
The balaclava is knit flat.
The pattern is available in two sizes, regular and XL. XL is perfect for those who have lots of hair – braids, dreadlocks, etc.
