Soothing Squares

These soothing squares are an ideal silent fidget for those who need assistance in regulating breathing. Originally conceived to help with hypnobirthing and upbreathing, these can also be used by toddlers (with supervison), teens, or adults.

The pattern contains both size options and there are photos to support with the specialist stitches used, making the pattern perfect for beginners who can do the basics already.

The square takes roughly 20g and the rectangle takes 40g of 100% cotton in aran weight. I use a 4.00mm hook but you are more than welcome to use another size if more comfotable with a bigger hook.
