Soft Lace Chemo Hat

This hat was inspired by the cotton/angora yarn that provides both wonderful softness and perfect warmth for someone going thru chemo and the loss of hair. It looks great with hair too.

This hat can be knit in either a fine yarn with more stitches for an intricate lacy look (A&B) or knit up in a bulkier yarn for a softer look (C). The instructions are given for a sport weight wool in a medium and large size and a worsted weight wool in a one size fits all.

There are three numbers given for stitch count. The first [A], and the second [B], use the finer sport weight and work up to circumferences of 18” and 21” respectively. The third [C] will be

in ( ) and uses a thicker worsted weight and knits to a circumference of 21”. All measurements are approximate.
