Sock Basics

Choose a soft DK or light worsted weight yarn, 300 to 400 yds. Exact amount will vary with your foot length and the length of cuff desired. For average size feet with a sport cuff (6"-8" tall), the lesser amount will suffice. For larger feet or a boot cuff (10"-12" tall), purchase a greater amount of yarn.
