I’ve created this pattern using 2 yarns held together. A really soft Baby Yarn with a very fine\/fluffy yarn using a 6:00mm\/J-10. But you could use a light worsted\/#3\/dk\/8 ply on its own as 1 strand. Adjust gauge\/hook size etc accordingly – and same for any other yarn substitute weights you may want to use. The stitch used is a ‘Half Double Crochet’. Called the “Granny Stitch’ pattern, by working 3 hdc stitches into the same space - for both the body and sleeves. All you need to do is make 2 pieces of the body first. Assemble.
